Beberapa info penting untuk Aquarium anda

Berikut adalah kalkulator ketebalan kaca Aquarium . Ketebalan yang betul menjamin keselamatan Aquarium dan juga keselamatan anda serta persekitaran.

MENGENAL PASTI MUTU AIR AKUARIUM

a.pH air

The Aquarium

Dimensi : 2.5 kaki panjang x 1.5 kaki lebar x 1.5 kaki tinggi (kiraan kasar)

penghuni sulong :
nama : Gandalf
nama saintifik : Hypostomus plecostomus
nama umum : Ikan Bandaraya
asal usul : Enstek

belonging to the family Loricariidae, Hypostomus plecostomus are large algae eaters, and to differentiate them from small algae eaters, they are often referred to as plecostomus, often abbreviated as plecos or plecs. They are extremely popular in aquaria for their ability to clean tanks by eating algae growth. In Malaysia, these fish are called 'ikan bandaraya' or 'municipal fish' in English because of their ability to clean fish tanks. These friendly-natured fish can typically be purchased when about 8 cm (3 inches) and may grow up to 60 cm (2 ft) if there is adequate room, making them mostly impracticable for any but the largest aquariums.

penghuni kedua :
nama : Pe'e
nama saintifik : Anabas testudineus
nama umum : Ikan Puyu @ Climbing gourami
asal usul : Pekan Nilai

The Anabantidae are a family of perciform fish commonly called the climbing gouramies or climbing perches. As labyrinth fishes, they possess a labyrinth organ, a structure in the fish's head which allows them to breathe atmospheric oxygen. Fish of this family are commonly seen gulping at air at the surface of the water; which then passes out of their gills or mouth when they dive beneath the surface.

The climbing gouramies originate from Africa to India and the Philippines. They are primarily a freshwater fish and only very rarely found in brackish water. An egg-layer, they typically guard their eggs and young.

Climbing Gouramis are so named due to their ability to "climb" out of water and "walk" short distances. Their method of terrestrial locomotion uses the gill plates as supports and the fish pushs itself using the fins and tail.

penghuni ke3,4 :
nama : Merlin & Dumbledore
nama saintifik : Balantiocheilos melanopterus
nama umum : Bala Shark (tricolor shark)
asal usul : Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi

Bala sharks are popular aquarium fish. These fish are generally peaceful and good companions to many other types of tropical fish. The nickname "shark" is used because of their torpedo shaped bodies and long fins. They are not actual sharks. Bala sharks are widely available in most pet stores, but these fish may grow to a size too large for the home aquarium. Also the bala shark is a jumper fish and may injure itself on the lid of a tank.

They are a hardy fish that will tolerate temperature changes, pH changes, and other factors to which other fish may be sensitive. The water pH should be 6.0–8.0. The preferable water hardness for this species is soft to medium (5.0–12.0 dGH). Water temperature should be kept between 22–28°C (72–82°F). The Bala shark prefers be kept in groups of two or more specimens (although they can survive alone). These fish require a covered aquarium as they are skilled jumpers.

penghuni ke5,6 :
nama : Dot & Dottie
nama saintifik : Barbonymus schwanenfeldii
nama umum : Tinfoil Barb
asal usul : Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi

It is distinguishable from other species of the genus in having a red dorsal fin with a black blotch at the tip, red pectoral, pelvic and anal fins, red caudal fin with white margin and a black submarginal stripe along each lobe, and 8 scale rows between dorsal-fin origin and lateral line. Large individuals are silvery or golden yellow while alive with its dorsal fin red and caudal fin orange or blood-red. It grows up to 14 inches (35 cm) in length. Tinfoil Barbs have a lifespan of 8 to 10 years.

Originating in the Mekong and Chao Phraya basins of Thailand, and Sumatra, Borneo, and Malayan peninsula, the tinfoil barb is found in rivers, streams, canals, and ditches. It also enters flooded fields. Its natural habitat is in water with a 6.5–7.0 pH, a water hardness of up to 10 dGH, and a temperature range of 72–77 °F (22–25 °C). In Indonesia, a temperature range of 20.4°C to 33.7°C was recorded for this species. It is largely herbivorous, consuming aquatic macrophytes and submerged land plants, as well as filamentous algae and occasionally insects. It also feeds on small fishes, worms, and crustaceans.

The tinfoil barb is commercially important in the aquarium hobby trade, as well as commercial aquaculture, subsistence farming, and occasionally as bait. It is usually marketed fresh.

There are no obvious distinguishing characteristics used to determine the sex of the fish. They reproduce by egg scattering of several thousand eggs per spawning. They are not often bred in captivity for the aquarium trade due to their large size.

penghuni ke6,7 :
nama : Wind & Cloud
nama saintifik : Procambarus clarkii
nama umum : Crayfish (udang galah kontot)
asal usul : Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi

P. clarkii is most commonly found in warm fresh water, such as slowly-flowing rivers, marshes, reservoirs, irrigation systems and rice paddies. It is considered to be the most ecologically plastic species in the Order Decapoda, and is able to grow quickly even in only seasonally present water, being able to tolerate dry spells of up to four months. P. clarkii grows quickly, and is capable of reaching weights in excess of 50 g, and sizes of 5.5–12 centimetres (2.2–4.7 in) long.[2] It is also able to tolerate slightly saline water, which is unusual for a crayfish. The average lifetime of Procambarus clarkii is 5 years. It is known that some individuals have reached ages (in nature) over 6 years.

penghuni ke 8 :
nama : Bino
nama saintifik : Clarias batrachus
nama umum : Ikan Keli dalmation
asal usul : Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi

The walking catfish, Clarias batrachus, is a species of freshwater airbreathing catfish found primarily in Southeast Asia, so named for its ability to "walk" across dry land, to find food or suitable environments. While it does not truly walk as most bipeds or quadrupeds do, it has the ability to use its pectoral fins to keep it upright as it makes a sort of wiggling motion with snakelike movements. It can survive using this form of locomotion as long as it stays moist. This fish normally lives in slow-moving and often stagnant waters in ponds, swamps, streams and rivers (Mekong and Chao Phraya basins), flooded rice paddies or temporary pools which may dry up. When this happens, its "walking" skill comes in handy for moving to other sources of water.
